These terms and conditions govern your use of Clwyd View Touring Park
  • Caravan Site Terms & Conditions

Please read before booking. Bookings are made subject to the following terms and conditions.

Clwyd View Touring Park enters into a contract with you when we confirm your booking.

When you make the booking, you warrant that you have the authority of all persons in your party to book on their behalf, and will indemnify Clwyd View Touring Park against all loss and damage arising directly or indirectly, from any act or default by yourself or any person accompanying you. As party leader you warrant that you will make all persons associated with your party fully aware of their responsibilities.

    Bookings are not transferable.

In addition to these terms and conditions, there may be specific terms which apply to individual pitches. These will, where applicable, be prominently displayed in the reception area of the park.

Please note that camping on Clwyd View Touring Park land is restricted to the areas designated as pitches. Camping in other areas is not permitted.

Clwyd View Touring Park is not liable for any loss or damage to your property and in making a booking with us you free and relieve Clwyd View Touring Park of any claim arising out of this booking.

All reservations and contracts are accepted on the basis that the client accepts the site rules and current booking conditions whether they have read them or not.

Bookings are made subject to the following terms and conditions.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the owners of Clwyd view shall be known as the "Owner" and the person(s) making the holiday booking shall be known as the "Visitor(s)".

A booking agreement is made on the basis that a caravan pitch is to be occupied by the Visitor for a holiday and the Visitor acknowledges that the occupancy granted by this agreement is not an assured occupancy and that no statutory periodic occupancy will arise when it ends.

Bookings can only be accepted from persons over the age of 18 years.

At time of booking the Owner will confirm the availability of a caravan pitch and costs involved, and will reserve a caravan pitch for the agreed time period.

A non-refundable deposit of £30 is required to secure the reservation.  If this deposit is not received within 7 working days then the reservation will be removed and the caravan pitch made freely available.

The Owner can only accept payment for the caravan pitch and services by cash or cheque.  Credit/debit card facilities are not available.

In order to process a booking and communicate with Visitors, the Owner needs certain information including name, address, telephone number, Caravan Club membership number and number of persons in the party.  These details should be provided with the deposit.

The Owner takes full responsibility for ensuring that proper measures are in place to protect the above information.

The cost of the holiday becomes due when the Visitor arrives at the site and must be paid in full at that time.

Bookings are limited to one car per caravan/tent.

The Owner accepts no responsibility for personal injury to Visitors, or loss of or damage to their property, or for other matters over which the Owner has no control.

The Visitor shall keep the caravan pitch/site in the same state of repair, cleanliness and general order as at the commencement of the holiday.  The Visitor must report and pay to the Owner the cost of any loss, or damage or breakages made during their holiday.

The Visitors rights to occupy the caravan site may be terminated without compensation if:

    1. More people than specified at the time of booking attempt to occupy the caravan.

    2. More than one car per caravan arrives at the site.

    3. Overnight guests are entertained without the Owners express permission.

    4. Any activity is undertaken which may cause unreasonable damage, noise, nuisance or disturbance to the caravan pitch, caravan site, the adjoining farm land and/or livestock.

The Owner shall be allowed access to the caravan pitch at any reasonable time.

The speed limit for all vehicles on site is a maximum of 5 mph (walking pace).  Pedestrians and children have right of way.

When attaching a cable to the electrical hook-up consideration must be given to the cable run so as not to cause a hazard or inconvenience other visitors.

Due to the very nature of a shower block, the floor may become wet and slippery after use.  Care must be taken when using the facility to prevent accidents. The Owner cannot accept responsibility for mis-use of the shower/toilet block.

Children must be supervised at all times, and particularly when hot water is being used.

Receptacles are provided for the disposal of domestic waste.  All waste must be sorted into the containers provided to comply with local recycling regulations.

The contents of chemical closets must be disposed of by emptying at the disposal point provided.  Only bio-degradable chemical fluids should be used that do not affect the natural bacterial balance of the system or cause difficulties for sewage disposal.

The caravan site is surrounded by fields used for animal grazing.  The Visitor must be aware that farm animals are not pets and can be temperamental. Visitors, and in particular children, must not approach these animals unless permission has been obtained from the Owner.

Barbecues are permitted, but visitors must endeavour to minimise smoke and fumes and any annoyance to neighbours.  All barbecues must be raised sufficiently off the ground to minimise the risk of fire and to avoid damage to the grass.

The information given on this website is as accurate as possible and given in good faith.  However, circumstances may result in changes around the caravan site.  If changes are necessary and beyond the control of the Owner, then the Owner cannot accept responsibility for any such changes.

After 10.00 pm please consider your fellow campers and keep the noise to a minimum. There is no tolerance given to offenders in this matter.

Unreasonable or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to refuse entry or expel anyone who is behaving badly and causing upset to others. In such cases we will not provide a refund for holiday days lost.

We reserve the right to change our details from those on our web site or printed brochure at any time and we also reserve the right to refuse bookings where advertised details are inconsistent. If anything is particularly important to you then please check when booking.

We are concerned that you have an enjoyable stay at Clwyd View Touring Park. Should you nevertheless have cause for complaint, please advise our Site Manager immediately, so that the complaint can be investigated and action taken.

If our Site Manager is not available, or if you are not satisfied with the action taken, you should put your comments in writing, within 14 days of your holiday to: Customer Care Manager, Clwyd View Touring Park, Marsh Road, Rhuddlan, Denbighshire, LL18 5UB. We will endeavour to send a response within seven working days.
